Another classy movie to watch if you're in for some great visual cinematic experience. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starts Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista as Peter Quill aka Star Lord, Gamora and Drax respectively. Vin Diesel is the voice for Groot and, Bradley Cooper for Rocket.
If you're planning on watching the movie, here's a non-spoiled review-
The film initally begins with the Guardians fighting some outer space creature in order to protect precious batteries. Baby Groot dancing in the background makes half of the crowd go 'Awww'. After Rocket racoon steals some batteries for himself, Ayesha, leader of the sovereign race, appoints Yondu to capture the Gaurdians and retrieve the batteries. After the capture of the Gaurdians by the fleet of Yondu, they struggle a lot to escape. Ego, a celestial god-like being, tries to make the entire universe his home. The gaurdians try their best to avoid the disastrous consequences.
Chris Pratt plays Star Lord, similar to Vol.1 but more sarcastic. Bautista beautifully carves out the character in a metaphorical and low-tempered manner. Zoe Saldana also displays Gamora as a skillful fighter. No doubt on the dexterous CGI work done on portaying Baby Groot and Rocket Racoon.
The music and soundtracks of the film are solely based on the 'Awesome Mix 2' tape, which Peter recieves as a gift from his mother. The tracks as perfectly chosen so as to suit the movie and enhance the effectiveness of the story.
Do wait till the end, because the movie features 6 post credit scenes, all of which are based on the same storyline.
A great movie from Marvel Studios. Hope the movie crosses 1B usd in total earnings world-wide. Definitely a must watch. Go for it!
