When I received a bottle of Green Tea, by Elizabeth Arden, as a gift, I was intrigued. What does a perfume that hints at smelling like a hot cup of green tea smell like? I was pleasantly surprised.

Green Tea does actually have a lingering scent of tea in its fragrance! Some may hesitate to wear a scent that suggests they’ve been sipping at the tea cup, but aside from the hint of green tea, this fragrance has a pleasant scent. It is a fresh scent that would be considered light. It is light in respect that it would be the opposite of heavier perfumes such as Opium or Fendi.

Light floral and almost woodsy notes compliment Green Tea. My first impression of Green Tea, was that it was an herbal blend. Even the color of the perfume suggests an herbal or light composition. I do not know of any other perfumes available that can compare to the blend of notes and scent found in Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea. It is a unique scent.

Along with the perfume, I typically use the Green Tea body lotion when I wear Green Tea. The lotion has the same light scent and adds to the ’’scent life’’ of the Green Tea perfume, when used together.

Green Tea may not be for everybody. It is not a typical perfume that can be classified as floral, woodsy, fruity, or spicy. If you enjoy experimenting with a variety of scents, Green Tea might be the right choice for a Spring day. I suggest sampling Green Tea before making a purchase. It may not be your ’’cup of tea.’’
