Sadly any weight loss aid tends to be a fad, many a times fiction and not a fact.green tea though is simply over hyped. While we all agree that it has a whole lot of health benefits like weight loss by firing your metabolism, fights certain types of cancer and keeps them at bay.
Increases mental clarity and, lowers Your Risk of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Its loaded with antioxidants and Phytonutrients. Yes BUT it is after all caffeine and all side-effects thats can be associated with caffeine come to be a part of green tea too even if its in a milder form .
For example anxiety, nervousness and even interaction with certain drugs. Increased stomach acidity and biliousness if consumed on an empty stomach. Lets keep it short- yes while the health benefits greatly outweigh the side effects
It has its share of them and Its an over hyped product thats ridden on the marketing bandwagon for reasons of greed and money too. I suggest you sip the tea without sweetener of any kind or maybe just use stevia - a product that's natural and 300 times sweeter than sucrose or table sugar .or maybe some honey, which is also naturally more sweeter than your refined sugar.
and if anyone thinks you can have unlimited refills I will say - resist everything in moderation including moderation .
and pls don't think of using any artificial sweetener like truvia, sucralose, equal or splenda at all with green Tea .
happy drinking!
You will get the best weight loss aid if you keep sweetness away.esp sugar as its not even a food.drs agree its a drug thats very addictive and will nullify any weight loss benefit.
FYI- use no more than 6-9 teaspoons of added sugar in a day .
