My elder son is studying in GMS - Chandanagar, but he joined in Begumpet branch in 1st standard and later shifted to Chanda Nagar branch in 3rd standard and now he is in 10th standard. It is promoted by Mr. Venkatanarayana, chairmen of school. GMS has total 60 branches in AP and Telangana. There are 43 branches in Hyderabad & Secunderabad and rest in Telangana and AP.
It is a State Board School with technology-enabled education. They have trained and experienced teachers, regularly they train their teachers to keep them upgrade to meet the international standards. The school timings are from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm and transport facility provided. Each class has only 30 to 35 students and give personal attention to all students. For students who are weak in studies are taken extra care.
The administration staff and lower level staff i.e. Ayahs, Security guard, and Drivers are very cooperative and take utmost care of children. Regular updates are sent through SMS and notices through children and curriculum related in children diaries.
The extracurricular activities like karate, sports, indoor and outdoor games. But they don't have playground facility and take the children to the near grounds or stadium once in a week. Science exhibition, Annual day are conducted once every year.
The ambiance of the school is OK. The school is clean but not spic and span. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly but average maintenance. Teachers often leave the school for various reasons it is very disturbing to the children to get adjusted to new teachers.
The fee structure is high compared to state board schools. But for the parents who join more than one gets concision in fee structure.
It is a good school and has many branches at convenient locations.
