We all are aware of Godrej products to be far more popular in India than any other brand, but sometimes even the best one lag behind in some or the other aspect. I got this refrigerator last year in diwali from a local electronics shop. Its hardly even one year and the fridge has shown a lot of issues till date. First of all the plastic used in this is of very low quality and the glass used for shelves is also not strong which the company says is capable of holding a particular amount of weight but I dont think so. Talking about the shelves along the door like the one for medicine, chocolate, bottles etc har also not properly fixed. I have got two of those shelves detached already before end of warranty. Also the vegetable tray in the bottom is very weak plastic basket. The glass shelves which company declares to be toughned ones also got broken in my fridge. When I called the customer care of godrej, then the executive asked me what kind of problem the fridge has. When I told about the broken parts, which I guess will be rising as the days and months passes by, then the company waived off their hands stating that the plastic parts are not covered in the warranty. But I told them that it could have been OK if there was one such case of broken part, still they refused to address the issue and told me that there isn't anything they can do . And now the freezer door is also broken which doesn't separate the temparatures in both parts of the refrigerator. So strongly suggest you if want to buy any costly products like this one first do check the quality yourself, dont go on reviews. Ask the seller to include the plastic parts in the warranty also in return of increased price. Atleast this product I wouldn't want to suggest to even my enemy as you cant store your icecream anymore if the freezer door breaks off.
