The god of Small Things(1997), I have gone through the novel, is a debut novel by Indian Writer Arundhati Roy. The story is about the twin girls Rahel and Estha in a small town of Kerala State. However, while going through the story, I realized that the story is of old Indian days, hence it becomes less interest. Also the language used in the novel is quite complex, difficult to understand at many times. Sometimes, one has to turn back the pages and read the story again to understand the story. I would only like to say that the novel is not very easy to understand and recommend it to others to read.
