Story:

I bought this book some weeks ago and I can assure everyone who is going to read this beautiful piece by Arundathi Roy, a good and a very enjoyable time. The first thing you should do before reading this novel is to search who actually Arundathi Roy is because her story also relates to the story portrayed in this book. I can relate a lot to this book because of the place chosen and the characters that are very genuinely introduced and beautifully evolved throughout the story. I learned many new concepts about how people lived and treated the lower class in that part of India and the character who was a communist, who had a mark on his back with the shape of autumn leaf, is one of the unforgettable characters along with the History house. This book will shock you in many ways because it contains in it the reality that we hide and are shy to share but with very blunt attitude Roy has injected her story with those social issues that leaves you smiling on her bold and brave anecdotal skills. This is her first fiction novel and I can assure you guys who ever reads this will eagerly wait for the clock to speed up so that you can buy her other books the next morning. One of the finest writers you will ever come across.
