Reliability!!!!
this is the factor to be considered b4 booking tickets for ur important trips.

for monday(morning) i had booked a ticket from Chn->Hyd (fare1220) in GoAir
but the flight got cancelled (due to some scrap reason) and they offered me the ticket for some future dates(wednesday was the earliest), but i opted for the total refund and caught a bus yesterday nite to reach hyd tuesday morning...I had to take leave from office yesterday.

ppl pls ensure that u take up some standard flight for your time critical travel.
(or may be flight cancellation is very common in other airways too....).

I just want ppl to realise the vulnerability of a startup airliner,
It can get into lots of issues...than a regular airliner.
hence ppl need to think b4 booking a airticket for their more important trips.

I was very ignorant on cancellation of flights, I do agree all airlines cancel flights,,,
but if it had been some regular airliner it wud atleast offered me a good alternative..... again since its a new startup it could not give me a good alternative, moreover it had canceled its flights for next 2 days.

The reason that GoAir put across for its cancellation of the flight was ’’technical snag’’!!!.
if it had really been a technical snag i can understand, how the airlines values all its customers life than its business.
but my first thought was - it had canceled the flight bcoz, it had not sold enough tickets for that day to make up its profit,,,,(when u sell tickets very cheap u need some gud number to fly) and offered the alternative flight for all on wednesday...

Again we can keep guessing.... and compare these situations/reasons with other airlines too....

but wht i felt out of this incident with me is its advicable to book more dependable airlines/railways when it comes for your more important occasions.u can sure try out a cheaper airliner but not well b4 it has proven itself, unless u r ready to take its known risks.
