(It happened
to me - read below)
I was travelling from Kochi (Cochin) to Mumbai the flight was at 2:30 dep. I got to know the flight is reschedule to 4:30pm, i waited than having any choice, time went on again it got reschedule to 5:30. again 6:30 and again 7:30pm and last at 8:30pm. At 7pm when i went to check in i was told all the boarding pass are given and they would refund my amount. Another passenger was yelling in the counter and threw their staff working papers and hammering on the desk of goair. Police was just watching the show (it might be a daily routine for them) and also was able to see other airlines staff laughing at each other. Finally i went inside and complaint since i was waiting from 12:30pm for airlines and they told me to collect the boarding pass before 1 hour before the flight was to be take off and also reached on time to collect the boarding pass. The flight which was to be take off at 7:30pm from kochi to mumbai came at 8:30pm. Finally i managed to get a boarding pass after talking to a staff and informing about my problem in my native language, he asked to me come to one room and collect the boarding pass. (Thanks to him else i was really screwed up and helpless). The drama doesn’t ends here.
On reaching coimbatore another 7-8 passenger wanted to enter and no room to sit even though they have valid ticket. Finally there was a delay of another 20 min and things were sorted out as passenger began to make noise. They made an announcement that kid who will sit on parents lap will be refunded with the ticket money and passengers were accomodated. To my suprise one passenger was sitting on air hostess seat and the airhostess adjusted the seat with the other airhostess.
(can’t believe such unprofessional approach). Finally the flight landed in Mumbai at 11pm. wherein it was to arrive at Mumbai at 4:30pm. REALLY it was a nightmare.
