I have a first ever experience with GO air and it is still continuing.



I booked a flight from Bangalore-Delhi at 7:30 PM  on 31 Jan after
i got tempted with its low fares (around 5000/- for 2 tickets). on the
travel date i confirmed the customer care at around 5:30 PM about
flight status. They said its ontime and so i left to airport with my
family, after reaching airport (hardly 10 minutes from my home in
bangalore), i came to know it is delayed by 2 hours, again after
waiting for 2 hours, we came to know that its further delayed by 2 more
hours and finally at around 11PM ,they told us it is CANCELLED.



I was shocked to hear this after waiting for around 5 painful hours at
airport. those goair guys at airport counter gave me two options either
to take full refund or go by another flight on next day, i chose the
latter as there was no alternative.



Next day was even more worse,  again before leaving my home at
around 7am, i confirmed from customer care about flight status, they
said ontime which was delayed by 4 hours again which i came to know
after reaching airport. i think they reply ontime without checking
anything.



after hearing 4 hours delay, i didnot have the stamina to wait for 4
hours keeping in mind the previous night experience where we waited for
5 hours to hear the word "CANCELLED". so i chose to go by another
flight by spending 7000/- rs per ticket and asked them to give me full
refund for which they agreed and told that amount would be credited in
my account in a week which has not happened till date (around 2 weeks).



Whenever i am trying to call them they are either busy or the call is
getting disconnected in the middle of  conversation with some IVRS
message starts playing automatically. i cannot rule out the
possibility  of them intentionally  playing it.



Today i was successful in calling them but to my shock they told they
will refund only tax amount and not the full amount. now i am trying
hard to get my full amount.
