I took a Go Air flight from Bangalore-Mumbai-Bangalore on the 26th and 28th of November. And I would put it simply to say it was better than I have expected from a low cost airline. The flight on 26th was on time. checked without much crowd.. unlike the popular airlines like Kingfisher I am used on official travel. The best part is that we didnt have to take a bus to catch the flight.. from the terminal to the plane. GoAir had an aerobridge allowing us to walk in directly to the flight. In-flight service was as expected. Just plain water and nothing else was served. I ’bought’ myself a sandwich for 40/- on the flight and i am not complaining.

The flight however got delayed at mumbai, courtesy mumbai airport renovation. My return flight at 7.20AM from Mumbai was also on time. No hassles, no waiting for bus (unlike kingfisher!!) from the plane to the terminal... and a decent customer service, even though there were only two inflight attendants. I guess, most of the times ppl pay for peanuts and expect cassatta icecreams to be served.. which might be leading to complaints abt low cost airlines.. atleast from my experience.

But yes, you have to factor in for a couple of hours of delay when you are taking a cheaper flight and dont expect to be served a multi-national cuisine inflight.  I reminded myself that I paid 3800/- for a roundtrip to mumbai unlike the next cheaper airline at 6000/- which is surprisingly Air Deccan..  So i was quite glad i chose Go Air.
