Well I used GoAir to goto Mumbai from Hyderabad and back. I traveled during the terror threat days during last week.

---First of all Booking
1. They do not accept American Express or Diners Credit Card or Any Bank Debit Card for making online payment. Only visa and Master card.
2. Online purchase of ticket is cheaper. All offline booking from GoAir ticket counter or Agent will attracts some commission.
3. Don’t try Booking over phone. I hanged up phone when no one answered after 10 minutes. If you have MTNL/BNSL do use it and you can make call to Toll Free line (I used cell phone), but keep in mind there is some extra charge

---Flight (to Mumbai)
1. The Govt Police man were cool inspite of threats received. I came to know about it only when I reach my home in Mumbai.
2. As soon as I entered, a GoAir executive came and asked about threatening stuff in my hand baggage and escorted me to the Check in counter. (Very good for a first time flyer like me.)
3. I got checked in and even passed Security Check. HEre I got confused about which gate I must take. All other airline had board immediately after the security pass just before the waiting lounge except GoAir. I was told to go on 1st floor by checkin executive so I went up, but a board just like other airline would have been better.
4. It was a pleasant flight and very nice expericne. (Nothing unexpected to crib about) Their crew was very good. Only bad thing they don’t have tea/coffeee on board. Only juices and sandwitches.
5. After landing their bus took us to the exit. That bus had seating capacity of only 5. Most of us were standing. There was uneven crowd in two buses. First bus left was packed and for second there were few passengers only.

---Flight (to Hyderabad)
1. Well After reaching to airport I was told about flight being cancelled due to technical snag. I reached aitport at 6:00 PM for a 7:20 flight. I was just thinking about the people who were coming from far place to take flight. I stay pretty close to Aitport. Just being careless. I received the SMS for flight cancellation at 6:50, much time after I had reached home. As I had no importnat plans, I took the option of taking next day’s flight which was offered to me. There was hugh rush to people taking refund. Why can’t airline use feature of not submitting bill to bank. This way lot of time spent in refunding and chargeback can be saved.
2. Well Next day, when I reached airport I came to know that flight was delayed by half an hour due to incomming flight was going to come late. :) It was good that SMS was sent at 6:00 but not too good as I had taken rikshaw for airport.
3. Flight started at the said delayed time, but it had to wait for 20 minutes to fly as runway was damn busy. HAd to good flight back to hyderabad.

In nutshell
1. Book ticket online. Save money and hassle of travalling to agent.
2. Use toll free number, because you don’t know how much time they would make you wait.
3. Do confirm the flight 4 hours before take off time.
4. Don’t use these flight for your business. You can’t trust any of these no-frill airlines.
5. Take something to read in Flight. They have magazine with their own ads in it for you to read.
6. Take water during flight. They give you 200 ml water during flight, which is too less.
