Pros:
Fares are reasonable, you get to choose your food
Cons:
No cotton for the ears, no value for money

I decided to try out Go Air since it was newly launched. Although their fares were quite reasonable, they sold food items for extra. The first thing I noticed about the Go Airlines customer service area
was that they did not bother to tie my luggage properly before sending it on board. The officers were, however, courteous. The airhostesses were dressed very fashionably and walked toward the aeroplane with an air of pride.

After boarding the aircraft, the airlines did not even provide cotton for the ears (which might cost a few cents) and the leg space was not enough. The luggages were not tied properly while checking in and no arrangement was made for proper seating in the aeroplane. This is one airline which would facilitate air travel for those who have never traveled before by air because of the cheap rates. Moreover, I was surrounded by a bunch of noisy people and crying babies that made the trip really miserable. The airhost and the airhostess did not do anything to make the other restless passengers any comfortable.

The air-hostesses were not hospitable to everyone, but to those mothers who had babies in their arms. Kingfisher provides free coolie services to all those who book their tickets through them and is also quite good as compared to other new airlines (of course, considering that it is an expensive airline service). I have heard that Deccan Airways do not offer any food on board though I have not really tried it. I have always liked Indian airlines better. Low rates do not mean low quality service. The other airline services that offer similar services are AirDeccan, SpiceJet amongst others. What GoAir could have done is to provide people with cotton and other amenities that would come within the budget on-board. The airhostesses could have been a bit more courteous.

After this experience, I felt that our good old Indian Airlines or any other airline service is much better.
