Wanted to share my experiences with Gilma for a chimney that I bought from them in Feb 2012.
Within 2 months of installation of Vitro90 chimney it started giving troubles. it will automatically stop, light will switch off and then it will not start. I would have to wait for 15-20 mins and then it will start but stop again. So I called the support and registered the complaint with them. And then my ordeal with Gilma started. As I write today after 4 months my chimney is still not working, Gilma has still not fixed the problem. Every time I call them up they keep on giving reason of spare parts not in stock. I escalated this to even the sales head and service head but the problem is still there. They keep on saying that the problem is with the mother board and it needs to be replaced. Surprisingly in these 4 months 4-5 technicians came, saw the problem, scratched their head to try to make out something, gave the same old reason "motherboard to be replaced" but never did they bring that to replace!!
Today too I have been told Gilma that someone will come and change the mother board. I hope they will be able to fix the issue today. I am really surprised. Vitro 90 being the latest model how can they say that they do not have sufficient number of spare parts. Either this is the worst product in their assembly line or they are lying that it is a new product!
Overall Gilma is a company you SHOULD avoid. I have till now pathetic experience dealing with me.
