Never buy this product. Review on Genus Sure Sine Wave Inverter

Never buy Genus Inverter - this is my advice to all of you out there, planning to buy an inverter unless you want to buy headache for ever. I bought this product two months ago and it was within the first 15 days that it burnt.  It made a horrifying sound and shut down.

I called an electrician who asked me to get in touch with the company as he was not sure what went wrong.  I tried calling the dealer who gave me company's number. I tried the number at least 100 times but it did not answer. What an unprofessional way to conduct business. Anyway, I was lucky to get through finally after a week or so and got the complaint registered.

So called technician came after 15 days and refused to repair the inverter unless his demand for money is met.  Being an educated customer. I am fully aware of my rights and refused to pay money as the inverter is very much covered under warranty. The Technician left and I am yet to hear from the company.

I am totally in dark.Dealer has refused to help too.The last resort left is I am going to dump it at the dealer's place.I consider my money lost but hopefully this act will make them feel ashamed.
