Today, in the morning when I was just browsing Mouthshut, I just noticed in my profile page that I am a member since 2003. I thought I did not even realize it, and now when I do, Its time for some thoughts, is it not?

I frankly do not even remember how did I come across this site now. But something made me stick on to Mouthshut- Its Uniqueness. Everything is  so organised and neat and Mouthshut support team is always instant when queries raised. What I enjoy here most  is getting to know  various people and their views.I should also equally say that my active participation in Mouthshut is always intermittent - on and off, but I have been keeping in touch with the website since five years and did not even notice the years pass by. Mouthshut still looks new to me, with all the new developments. Writing has always been my passion. I always scribble down something or the other, and recently I should say I have started scribbling in Mouthshut Dairy (My Poems). The idea of introducing the dairy is certainly laudable and I am happy that it’s not like blogging.

Mouthshut is known as a consumer site, but actually don’t you all think it does more than that? The comments, the star writer feature, the review of the day column, trusted circle, gifts  etc, helps an individual first in building his confidence in expressing his viewpoints and maintain relationships with others who the person has not seen or met and yet is close by ideology. It  tries to bring in something in us which sometimes goes unnoticed by ourselves.

The feature I loved most here is review (Of Books), being a book lover. In no other site, as far as I have seen, it is as comprehensive as it is here. And the comments too are honest and helpful, and the recent Corporate Blog and photography section are also the  ones  I like and wish the participation is still stronger.

I also beneifited a lot from many  reviews and sometimes they are really thought provoking and gives good choice, especially when it’s Cars, mobiles and travels.

I wish Mouthshut good luck in all it’s endeavours.
