This as an open letter to MouthShut and fellow MS members. I am here to second akt’s thoughts about Mouthshut!! It’s been just three months me joining
MS. And it took me no time to reach the conclusion. Amit Mishra could not dare to accept and announce about the worst writers and doomed fate of MS! But I will be sharing all my thoughts with Mouth Shut!!
When I joined- I was impressed over the novelty of the concept but just a three month’s stay has made it very clear!! Crystal clear indeed!! Let me put it point wise!!
I understand this site got launched three-four years ago and when no one but ordinary, netizens were the initial members and now they have formed a gang over here. Its shear lobbying when a group of member praise a waste review and go heads over heals on each other. And fill up the comment section with all the nonsense, which better makes sense on yahoo messenger. What the heck! They chat in the comment section. What a purposeful review and what a site?
Simply nonsense city meets. This is a classic example of stupidity- let me put it this way, we as a professional are using Adobe software and Adobe organizes meets and seminars and conferences in each city to bring the software users close!! We would be called insane!! When we as Adobe Software users organize a meeting on our own and call it an Adobe Delhi Meet? My god, have you people lost it?
Star writers! A big fraud! I will call it MouthShut’s weirdness to appease or oblige old members? What is the yardstick to be a star writer at MS! A fantastic know it all review about some product, service or brand? No just a lunatic saying whatever he wishes to blast because he is free to do so, on MS. Anywhere else, he would have been bashed to death? The benchmark of making any one star writer? MS has simply put a speedometer on comment section. 10 of your reviews getting over 80 comments and ting you are the star writer over here!! And what are these comments about? Glee-glee, ga-ga, psst-psst, hee-hee, haa-haa!! By a lobby who know each other as friends and more than the seriousness of a comment- it’s like scrapping each other as on Orkut!!
Original reviews? Forget it. There are two types of writers here one fairly good others who simply don’t know how to write!! I leave the second lot!! They are innocent. But the first lot is doing crime. When some of the earlier MS members were caught red handed, hijacking Google write-ups, these smarter breed has learnt a trick!! Write the introductory para- Control Paste the matter and conclude in the end!! And talking about the lobby. Mimi mou, Itika, Flying Elephant, Afarnk, Amateurwhat few more, see them all giving a review VU sign together and you will know who are the part and parcel of this gang? They just go ga ga over each other, discussing about some stupid, non relevant city meet and then 1000s of comments – oh yaa, hee hee, he he!! Holy s_____!!
I could go on and on!! But to cut it short I am putting a straight question to Jasmine, Faisal? Is this the product you want to feed to corporate customers? Sorry guys they are a lot smarter guy. And I assure you as an Advertising, Marketing and heavily into product, service and brand surveys that you need to wait for a second life to get this done!!
Either cut the crap, or get ready to be forgotten- at least by Advertising & Marketing and Corporate Communication guys. I have shared your site with many of brand managers but your reviews and bunch of writers failed to impress them….
