This review is about my internet addiction and how I got over it. It’s not easy especially being addicted of the net.

First of all, I never really use a computer and I was useful at home. I clean the house, feed my cat, wash clothes, feed the fishes, and I have time for my boyfriend. Back then my only entertainment was the television.

My life changed in a negative way when I started using the computer and got connected online. I spent hours and hours just playing games online and only got few hours sleep. I became lazy. I made the internet my priority. My boyfriend complained that I’m online all the time and not gave him attention. I chatted at MSN messenger and exchanged e-mail address with strangers. I was even surprised that I did cyber sex online. I considered my online friends as my family.

There’s this one guy from Pakistan. We got along well and we chatted at MSN messenger. I enjoyed every minute chatting with him. Most of all I respected him. It took me a long time to realize that while we were chatting he was sending me viruses online with the graphics he was sending me in a messenger. I ended our friendship for some personal reasons.

Few months down the road I overcame my internet addiction by my self-restraint. I made my chores to be my priority and I spent less time online. I even researched how to earn money online to make good use of my time. In the process I stumbled upon mouthshut.com. Also, I’m taking free courses online to broaden my knowledge. I’m very proud of myself that I no longer waste my time online.
