None.......

...Now, why do people bother ‘putting pen to paper’ or in modern times, ‘finger to keyboard’? Is it because the ‘writing bug’ bites some people really hard or is it because, it’s easier to jot down one’s innermost feelings when one doesn’t need to worry about offending someone in a face to face meeting.
I mostly prefer reading because I get to view the world through someone else’s eyes and that’s always fascinating. People have very different outlook on a particular situation and just to give an example, ‘Wodehouse’ and ‘Tolstoy’ would have very different opinion on ‘heartbreak’. Words can paint a picture and how one views that picture, depends on the reader. Books are definitely one’s best friend. It’s not only the printed words, as there are memories associated with a particular book. If you really like thrillers, then getting your hands on a good thriller makes you elated and years later when you pick up the same book there’s a feeling of ‘nostalgia’.One can’t judge a book by its cover, so there will be some disappointing moments. You can spend a fortune on a particular book that’s a ‘hot topic of conversation’, yet the book might be a disappointing ‘read’ for you, but then there are gems to be picked up too! There are ‘unknown’ authors and sometimes their words in print may uplift you or have a calming effect on you. Books can actually make you laugh, even when life ain’t a ‘smooth sailing’ for you. We can travel the world, experience bitter sweet moments, enjoy the most unforgettable adventures and that too ensconced in our own comfy space. So, I suggest, look for books that suit your ‘taste’ and ‘pocket’ without worrying about impressing someone or people labeling you ‘bookish’ etc…
It’s comforting to curl up with a book and if it’s raining outside, a steaming cup of coffee, your favourite snacks and the book that you’ve been wanting to read for ages can create a very personal and heavenly experience for you.
