I had a bitter experience in purchasing a Voltas ac(Model 125PY)on 24.3.2016. The AC was excellent. Third day from date of installation the gas leaked out. There started my nightmare. After one week they recharged with the refrigerant. But cooling was not the same as before.
Gas leak was due to faulty installation by the authorised dealer. My request for replacement not accepted, nor the service people were able to restore the machine to the original condition.
Do not trust Voltas for its service. They will attend your call with some ready built reply. Their technicians are best for plumbing work. The so called reputed company Voltas a member of the Tata group have no qualified persons to set right their products.
I brought Voltas as it was a Tata Product. Do not trust Tatas. They are also like any other corporates operating in India exploiting the public and making profits.
