Gaylord is definitely not the Lord of restaurants at Churchgate area. It has stiff competition from restaurants such as Indian Summers, Just around the Corner, Purohit etc.
Indian Summers is for the Executive class in an around the area, Purohit foer the pure vegetarians and of course Just around the Corner for the young and beautiful. Where does GayLord fit in all this?
I wouldn't say it is bad, but it can definitely improve. I agree with one of the reviews that the aroma from the bakery attached to Gaylord is enchanting. Food quality is good but service can sometimes be very slow. It has a good ambience and lot of room outside to wait when there is a rush.
Overall a good place for once a while visit.
