I have to admit I was a bit surprised to find negative reviews of Gator here on Mouthshut. Perhaps I was one of the lucky ones, but I have never had any problems at all with this software. So I decided to give you all a positive review of this product!

Gator is an online companion that automatically fills in online forms for you, and remembers your user name and passwords to all of the sites you visit online. It seems to be completely secure, so there is no reason to worry about the safety and privacy of the information you give to Gator . The information is only stored on YOUR computer.

When logging into a site for the first time, Gator automatically pops up on your screen. One click of a button can fill in online forms, including your name, address, phone, email, and credit card information (if you so choose. You only have to give Gator this information once, instead of each time you visit a new form.

Gator also remembers your passwords. Once Gator has ’’seen’’ what your user name and password for a site is, it will ask you if you want Gator to remember this information. If you choose yes, the next time you visit that site, you will just have to click ’’log in’’ on the Gator screen. If you are a member of as many sites as I am, it is extremely helpful not to have to remember all those darn passwords!

If you have any problems using or downloading Gator , they have a great support system which includes FAQ, Troubleshooting Wizard, User’s Guide, and Email Technical Support. Their support team has always been expedient and helpful in their replies to me.

If you have problems using Gator , I encourage you to write to them and ask. The problem may lie with the fact that you have too many programs running in the background of your computer, or the fact that you may have a program downloaded that is not compatible with Gator. Whatever the case, I am sure their team will be glad to assist you!

The only downfall to Gator is that sometimes it is annoying when it pops up to fill in a form for something that is blantantly just an advertisement, or something else you have no interest in. However, you can tell Gator NOT to fill in your information, or to ask again.
