Gator ads you to tons of SPAM lists, you will be spammed by so many advertisements it will clog your e-mail. Even if you manage to get Gator off of your system (which you have to do manually, as well as hack your registry and/or policies to do), you will STILL receive this SPAM!!
Wanna know why there’s so many bad reviews here? Gator is notorious among the IT community. Anyone who works on computer networks HATES this program and the problems it causes.
Oh, yeah...don’t forget that Gator was SUED for popping up competitor’s ads when going to some commercial web pages!
Gator is the worst program ever to be made. I could not possibly recommend it to anyone. My University spent lots of time trying to clean it off of all the labs computers.
Who could find anything good about Gator?
There are other programs you can use to keep track of your passwords, and they don’t come with all this extra baggage. Gator is a waste of computer space. Don’t waste your time with it.
