The gator form-filling program is fantastic. This little program will remember your login ID and password for a particular web page. When you go to that page, Gator will ask if you’d like to have gator fill in the info. With one click the program puts your ID and password in. All you have to do is click the ’’login’’, ’’sign in’’, ’’submit’’, or whatever button.

When I first downloaded the program, I thought it was going to be a database to store IDs and passwords. It wasn’t. After you type in your login id and password on a site. The gator program will ask if you want it to remember it for you. Say yes and the next time you go to that site the gator will ask to fill in the info for you.

I used to have to reference a sheet (from a word document) that had all of my id/passwords on it when I wanted to log in somewhere. I have 34 different login ids for different sites. Now I just let Gator do the work for me. And all of the private data is stored on your local computer, not on the web somewhere.

An added bonus. Say there is a site where you have different logins. Example: My wife and I both have loginIDs and passwords for iwon.com. When we go to sign-in under Iwon, Gator will prompt with a drop-down menu that has both of our login IDs. We choose who we want to sign in under and Gator will fill in the ID and password for that person.

This program is free, and every few days a little popup ad will display on your screen. Some of the ads are useful. The ads are attractive and they close very easily. You can even tell Gator if you don’t want to see ads by a particular merchant.
