Bad experience with gati courier
I had to shift my bike from nagpur to navi mumbai, I explored different options and chose gati as it was providing door to door delivery.
I booked my bike on 30 may 2016 and was charged 3152+500 for packing(they dont provide packaging I paid theire represntative 500 for arranging packaging). They gave me 1june as assured delivery.
We can track shipment online with a docket num provided by them.
On 30 and 31 may online tracking was giving me invalid docket as my bike was not loaded and was at nagpur for 2 days. On 1 june I was able to get details online and it was saying 2 june as assured delivery. On 2june I called customer care 3 to 4 times for bike status dey told me same things which I was able to see online. On 3 june I called customer care 3-4 times for delivery each time I didnt got satisfacory answer. At last they booked complain in theire system and asked me to wait for 4 working hours to give me status(not delivery) so I waited till next day 2pm but I didnt received any call. Then from 2pm-4 pm I called around 7-8 different local representatives to find if my bike is at theire wharehouse. At 5 I got call and told that my bike is at panvel wharehouse which is hardly 10 km from my residance. I got num of incharge of panvel he told me dat delivery will be given on monday.
The delivery was already late by 2 days and was told to wait another 2 days for just 10km lastly I went to panvel by auto and took my bike by self.
