It is a historical fiction novel written by STEVEN PRESSFIELD that recounts the battle off thermopylae with one of the only three Greek survivors in the battle.Gates of fire is one of the Commandant of the Marine corps.i love historical movies but after reading this novel I started visiting the libraries and now it became my hobby that I love such historical books.and simply this book is written in language that is an international language and it is very easy to understand this novel highlights many heroics of several dozen spartains .it become one of my favorite novel. I almost read it eighteen times and each time it becomes a new historical novel. history books told us about many of our ancients . this is a book of 400 pages and very easy to read and understand especially its writer steven pressfield is one of my favorite writers.
simply this novel is the best.
