While we travel in a train which is having less travel time, we happily book tickets by that train.
But, if the train gets arrives you to your destination, by two hours late, then that is really a pathetic experience.
I traveled from New Delhi to Ludhiana two days ago. Firstly the train arrived half an hour late to NDLS station. Then it took a halt of half an hour on the platform. Then while it departed, it again stopped for half an hour out of the platform pathway.
Totally it took more than six journey hours, whereas it was suppose to reach within four hours.
It's really surprising that there is only one halt between Delhi to Ludhiana, that is Ambala. And still it made my arrival two hours late.
Instead of this train I would have preferred Express or Superfast train, as the travel time taken by GR & Superfast/Express is equal.
I won't prefer Garib Rath from further, as I have to travel for important meetings. So I will prefer Shatabadi or Rajdhani only.
