I visited Gangtok twice till date. Its a hill station located at sikkim.its capital of sikkim. The total city surrounded with green hills. Roads were neat and clean.
My hotel was near m.g. market whivh is the main attraction of Gangtok.
Here woolen dresses, jackets, shwals, sweaters are available in a cheap rate. I was there once in the month of january and 2nd time in the month of march. Its been cold at this time.
I visited at the place via new jalpaiguri railway station.
Tour begin from howrah rail station at the night around 10 p.m then we reached at njp in the early morning.
From there we hired a cab for gangtok. It took almost 7 hours to reach at gangtok.
There are some local sight seeing points like some parks, tibetian monestry etc.which are very interesting.
It is a nice place not very far from kolkata. You can also fly to bagdogra airport from kolkata then reach gangtok by a tata sumo or bollero.
Nice place, nature rocks, natural beauty these are main attraction of this place.
Always try for momo at this place, several type of delicious momo shops are available at this place.
