Galingka is actually a bungalow which is located at the backdrop of the second largest peak of the Himalayan ranges – Kanchenjunga peak which I explored in 2005 during weekend trip with my family as it is just one night journey from my home.
This bungalow was built by British wool traders which were used by them during their trade to travel from one part to another part of India. The delicate architectural style and the picturesque surroundings make this bungalow a picnic spot for the tourists.
This bungalow was built after this area is renowned as a summer hill resort. Galingka is surrounded by beautiful garden enriched with many beautiful flowering plants and shade trees which add attraction of this place and enhances its beauty.
This is a serene place which is suitable for scheduled relax and enjoyable holiday vacations. I am still recalling those memories of my visit to this place which I enjoyed a lot with my family. Don’t forget to carry camera with you to capture its natural beauty and surroundings to sustain it as a life time memory.
