We visited GRT today, i.e 21st March 2015. to buy few gold ornaments. We had intended to exchange old gold for the new gold.
The old gold was first weighed and then they asked me to clean it! Then it was melted and 10% of the weight was deducted. When I inquired about this, there was no proper answer.
The new gold which I bought was charged 14.5% Wastage! Upon calculating I found out they were ripping me close to 20% in a single transaction. I looked around and I saw there was a huge crowd in the shop, was guessing how much money these people were ripping out of this unsuspecting shoppers.
Having a good name is a bliss, but this should not be misused.
GRT start doing business more ethically.
