I definitely am not in to writing reviews, but I feel I owe a debt of gratitude. I, too, was late (two weeks) closing out my account after the promotional period ended. GE had every right to hit me with the back interest, but, surprisingly, they forgave my tardiness and just let me pay the balance on the account.
I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised and relieved I was. I almost didn't call and ask them to remove the charge, but I'm so glad I did.They were very accommodating!
