I never thought in this virtual world of E-Commerce a site named FutureBazaar.com can give you a feeling like you are I a govt. office dealing with slow and lazy govt. officials. I hope you are getting
the idea what I am talking about.
I placed an order on the site future bazaar on 6th Dec 2007 for a fly MX300 mobile phone. The total amount was 4950/- I payed by cheque so that I can track the transaction.
The payment got cleared on 14th Dec 2007 and they told me that order will be processed immediately. As on their site in the shipping information section they have stated that it takes 7 days max to ship mobile phones. So on 17th Dec 2007 I gave a call to their customer care to check the status and to verify the time required to ship, they told me that it will take 1-3 weeks, but I told them that on your site you have stated that it takes 7 days for mobile phones but the customer care personal had no idea.
So I wrote a email to their Email ID, because I have seen that there was a vast difference between the version of answers that the call center personals and the email support personals gave to me in the past.
I got a reply on 18th Dec 2007 that due to some "unavoidable reasons" the estimated shipping date is latest by 24.12.2007. I asked them to clarify the "unavoidable reasons", and they told me that the phone I ordered is in great demand so they are taking time to ship.
I dont understand when they dont have stock in their warehouse then why do they even post offers in their site.
This is my latest email to their customer support:
After reading the feedback of customers in the link below: http://www.mouthshut.com/product-reviews/Futurebazaar.com-925069969.html
I feel I made a mistake by placing an order on your site. Even after
this delay you are still giving me a estimated date that is latest by
24.12.2007. When you dont have products in your stock why do you even
place product offers on your site.
Another
issue, it seems that when I give a call at the customer care number
(022) 40 490 490 people who are answering have no idea what I am
talking about. They are no better than computerized answering machines.
But when I write to the email ID support@futurebazaar.com I at least get some sane answers. Are these two dept. are from two different worlds.
I
never expected such a lousy service from a reputed company. Make sure
you guys cannot carry on for long with this kind of service, and you
may have to pay dearly for this.
