Pathetic experience - please avoid at all costs. Review on Furtados Music Store, Bangalore

Furtados is a pathetic pathetic place! I had ordered a Greg Bennett guitar from there and I was told that I would get it within 10 working days and had paid an advance. I was eagerly anticipating the promised delivery date and since I was gifting the guitar to someone I wanted to discrepancies in it -I had let the sales staff know the same. However, when I did not receive any intimation(and the guitar of course) from them on the day of the delivery I called them up and they just told me "please don't worry sir, the guitar is shipped and you would surely get it in 3 days". After 3 more days I called them yet again when I did not receive any kind of intimation and they repeated the same line yet again.I was really annoyed and went to the store myself on a working day after I finished office -my office is 15 km away from the store- and I was just received with blank expressions from the sales staff. After I raised a hue and cry in the store the store manager who thought that he was Joe Gerard himself spoke to me and told me "boss now the store is almost closing.you must give me time till tomorrow only then I can tell you where your guitar is." I couldn't believe that this guy was totally indifferent to the fact that I had ordered a guitar, paid an advance, waited till beyond the promised date of delivery, was not told about the guitar not being received at the store on the date promised twice already, was eagerly waiting for the guitar to come since it was meant to be a gift for someone(the day I wanted to gift the guitar is already gone now) and moreover was so irritated that I took a detour after long day's work and came down to his store. I was almost going to cancel the order but then since I was already into it quite a bit I decided to go through it anyway.

Now its been 15 days since I ordered the guitar and I still haven't got it. I have no clue as to where it is, I don't know when I will get it, I am helpless because there is no one I can ask and it is annoying to even enter that store especially to go and fight and yell there the second time. When I call the store the staff repeats the same reply like a broken record or a parrot "sorry sir but your guitar has been shipped already. It will definitely reach you in 3 days and as soon as it comes we'll call you" which basically means that "sorry sir you are a fool to keep calling again and again and as you can see we don't give a damn about you even though you've paid the money for this product and since it has been shipped it has to reach anyway so when it reaches us we will call you. Till then we'd advise you to kindly relax and just chill like we are doing." Well I am going to wait for a couple of days more and if it still doesn't come then I think it would be time to cancel the order.

In short if you want the joy of buying a musical instrument totally ruined then please pay a visit to this store, my suggestion would be to avoid it with a barge pole. I mean there are plenty of music stores in Bangalore which sell every kind of product and if you stay in Koramangla then Aruna Musicals is a good choice.Please avoid Furtados.
