Now days, the lifestyle has been changed and gradually moving slow to fast or faster. People are working for 5 or 6 days like a hell, and just want to enjoy on weekends at the best.
This includes food, movie, pub, discos, and other joints. But as I see, most of the people go for food and movies. People are ready to spend money for fun and there are few entertainment providers who they are not ready to offer services that make fun for people by any chance. Fun cinema is one of such entertainment place that does not provide anything that allows people to have fun during watching movies.
I have booked two tickets for Jodha-Akbar through BookMyShow for 9:30 show in Fun Cinema, V3S Mall Delhi. We reached there at 9:00 and saw a long queue of people at the box office. There was only one window operational and the guy sitting there was dealing customers in slow motion. I saw his speed and started loosing hope of getting tickets before 9:30. I got the ticket at 9:35 pm, and rushed towards the audi.
We entered in the audi that was stinking. That was really hard to breathe, and I put my hanky on my nose to help me breathe at least. Since, I booked the ticket online so I was aware about the location of my seats. I approached to my seat, cleaned the popcorn from the seat, and found it very uncomfortable after sitting on it. It was not leaning behind properly while I was in the Gold Class. The heights of seats were so ridiculous that the person sitting in front of me was a kind of obstacle in between the screen and me. Leg space was something I looked for almost 3 hours.
Theater was not clean, ACs were functioning but not effective, and screen size was pretty small. After some time movie started, and then I heard the worst sound, which reminded me the quality of theater in towns, where speakers are just burst out if loud music is played. My God, sound was so horrible that my ear start paining. Digital Dolby sound was implemented at its worst. If A.R.Rahman would be reading this post, then he must be thinking that how such theaters can waste his effort by putting these kind of audio systems.
I found their support staff most unsupportive, as during the movie I found them fighting with a couple who had bought something, and an issue was raised due to ambiguity in return the balance to the couple. Movie was on, and the support staff was quarreling with the couple to sort the matter out. The staff didn’t put any thought that others are also watching movie and they are interrupting them. I really appreciate the way as the staff handled the matter because they spoiled around 10 minutes of movie for others.
We came out from the theater, and I was thinking that I do work very hard to earn 280 Rs, and the Fun Cinema spoiled all my fun for which I had paid this much of amount.
