My Whirlpool Fully automatic washing machine s PCB got damaged just after the warranty period and the cost of it is 3500. I myself being an Engineer can vouch you that this is just an act of substandard parts used in assembly. A belt getting damaged or the motor getting damaged could be a case of improper using of the machine.
Even the solenoid valve for water can also get nonoperational. Having gone through some of the reviews I have seen the same problems happening to other customers also. And this shows this their sheer negligence by not improving. So my humble request to fellow Indians is NEVER EVER BUY WHIRLPOOL products, its based on my experience.
