The story plot is very well written as well as the characters.The serial revolves around the lives of six best pals:Monica,Rachel,Joey,Ross,Chandler and Phoebe.The main hangout zone of the six is the coffee place called Central Perk as well as Monica’s apartment.Each character has its different unique personality which adds more humour to the story.
 
Monica,played by Courteney Cox,is a controlled freak obsessed with winning and cleanliness.She was earlier a big,fat lady who has now lost more than 80 pounds!!!!She is one of the best chefs and always plays the hostess.

Ross,played by David Schwimmer,is Monica’s elder brother.He’s the nerd of the group and a palienthologist(dinosaur scientist).His marital life is a disaster with three failed marriages.The first one to Carol,his high school love,who turns out to be a lesbian with Susan!Then to Emily,a Britisher who divorces him soon after the wedding because he mentioned Rachel’s name during the ceremony!And the third to Rachel,when they both got drunk at Las Vegas!!!

Rachel,played by Jennifer Aniston,is a millionaire who first worked as a waitress and then in Ralph Lauren.She left her fiance Barry at the altar and ran away!She’s also Monica’s high-school best pal.The on-off relation between Ross and Rachel is shown throughout the serial......Shes also the mother of Emma,Ross’s and her’s daughter.
 
Joey,played by Matt le Blanc,is truly one of the best actors in the serial.He’s an Italian inspiring actor who played Al Pacino’s bottom double!!!He’s always shown to be the most stupid among the group.But very successful with the women and is known for his famous pick-up line’’How you doin?’’
 
Chandler,played by Matthew Perry,probably one of the funniest in the group.He’s always ready with one of his jokes.His dad’s a transversite and mom a sensual egomaniac.He’s also Monica’s husband.
 
Phoebe,played by Lisa Kudrow,is the most unique character among the others in the gang.She’s famous for her made-up songs especially for the song’’Smelly Cats’’ which earned a video too!She believes in ghosts,and was once a mugger who mugged Ross!!!!
