We had a very bad experience and lost my mother after she had kidney transplant at Fortis. She got kidney transplant under supervision of Nephrologist- Dr Alok Jain in Nov 2014. She had severe diarrhea after two months of transplant, which continued for two months, doctors did not have any clue. Dr Alok kept asking us to wait.
Finally my father had to fight with medical superintendent Dr. Swami, that if they cannot take care after transplant why did they do it. They asked us to check with some other doctor. After log of argument, they called for a meeting of all the doctors to discuss the case. My mother improved a little, so we took her home.
But after 15 days she started having problem with transplanted kidney her creatine was increasing and hemoglobin was reducing. Again Dr Alok Jain, kept telling us it is nothing, no need to worry. But she died on third day after admission. My mother could not even survive for 6 months and Died in April 2014.
Please don't go for any kidney disease to Fortis or Dr Alok Jain.
