It’s 12:25 p.m. and just came back home after wasting two hours at Harpreet Ford’s Gurgon dealership. After slogging all night in office and then rushing to give the car for service, still

l preferred to sit and write down on how crappy Ford’s service is.

I took Total Maintenance Plan on second service after the guy there told me how each and every part is supposed to fall off. I also went for tefflon coating but it’s worh it as you get two more coats after sixth and ninth month. Luckily I refused the anti-rust coating costing 4000 as the manual says the car comes with anti-rust treatment (which the ford execuvites don’t even know)

First thing I was told today was that washing the car won’t be possible because of the heavy rush. Then came the demand for coupon that I should have got under TMP. They never posted me the TMP booklet as even they have not received it.

My car started giving problem same day i got it back after second service. After starting the car, it looses power in second gear as if the fuel tank is empty. After driving for 3-4 kms, it gets normal. Or like a diesel car, I need to leave the engine running for few minutes. I called them and their PDS had been sent to Ford,  Chennai for repairing. Four months, it has still not come back.

This is a problem that started after second service. To confirm how untrained their staff is, there were many other customers to share their problemsn. Col. A.K. Singh from Delhi had come to Gurgaon because the gurgaon dealer is using the PDS belonging to Ford’s Vasant Kunj dealership. He also had problems after service.

Another elderly man was cursing them because they can’t fix a simple problem with his Fiesta’s AC knob. I had recently been to nainital and because of a real bad stretch of road, I felt the car door was making some noise. I was told they can’t fix that too because of heavy rush.

On top of that, the second coat of tefflon coating can’t be done because the guy doing the same is not there.

These idiots are literally screwing the company’s brand name and our cars. Even with this initial missing problem in the car, I’ve driven the car to nainital and ranikhet. Not a single hitch for five days. I’ve driven it on road and off road. Drove nearly 900 kms during this travel for just Rs.3300 worth of petrol.

Had I not taken the TMP, I’d go out and get it serviced from the market. Those mechanics are more experienced than these villagers. The guy handling my car just cranked the ignition without letting all indicators to come on and go off. He couldn’t reverse the car and i could hear the clutch plates making noise thanks to his idiotic way of handling the accelerator and clutch while shifting gears.

Call them on any of the numbers and no one will answer the phone.

Two customers standing next to me enquired if I’d like to join them for suing Ford for this shit. And yes, I’ve said YES to them.

I’ll still recommend this car to all but don’t go for TMP and get it serviced outside. It’s a no-nonsense car as long as you keep it away from Ford workshops.

Fu** you Ford for your bloody service.
