I am the proud owner of a 2006 Model Ford ikon Flair. I am totally satisfied with this car. I am the second owner. When I had purchased the car the kilometers recorded was 57, 652 kms and today the recording is 78, 563 kms. I stay in Bangalore and I am very fond of long drives. I have never faced any issues with my car.
I usually drive to Hyderabad up and down atleast twice in a month. To be honest not even a single time I had to stop due to any engine failure other than Petrol pumps, toll gates and refreshments, lol. Hyderabad is 602 kms from Bangalore and hence guys you can have an idea.
I get a mileage of 12 in city limits and 16-18 highway according to the driving conditions. My goes ramps to a speed of 180 kmph.
The basic things I keep an eye is on the Engine Oil, Brake oil and also the coolant.To be honest I am totally satisfied with my ikon. And yes I have also seen many of the comments that the customers are not happy with their car. It entirely depends on the way the car is kept and maintained.And yes FORD is one of the best Car manufacturers.
