I am a third owner of a Flair.Purchased from a doctor. Clocked 95000kms. I have so many doubts and confusions regarding this Ford manufacturer. Lot of the people said this is a money waster and will be a headache. I am sharing my real .experience. I have bought this car at 58K. Now it is 105000kms passed and successfully running with a descent mileage of 15 on highways and 13 on city. Both are without A/C. The riding comfort is superb and handling is much better than today's entry level cars. We didnt feel any of the tiredness after a long drive. I just invested 5000k at the time of purchase of this machine. I am really happy with this car. AC is very powerful and the seating is superb. The only thing is we need to care this machine as like a kid. If there is any replacement, the spare cost is little bit higher than other brands( Mauthi, Tata). But I am promising that, if we are purchasing an 800 or Alto in this price, do not expect the comfort/ Ride quality/handling/style etc. I am not planning to sell my car.( If I will get some money I will purchase another machine from Ford itself).
The persons who are putting negatives for Ikon, I am sure they didn't own or driven this vehicle.
