I have a Mumbai registered ford Figo 2010 Oct model tdci ex version. Overall I have had a horrible experience in servicing by authorized ford service. In march April 2015.
I took my car to service centre thrice at SC ford in malad because of airconditioning reduced performance. All three time's.
They would keep hand near a vent and say this is good cooling( is ford diagnostics in stone age?) In may when I shifted residence to pune. The account completely stooped functioning. . After a weeks waiting period for an appointappointment at planet ford in bibwevadi pune. I get a service appointment. And then they tell me. One part is leaking g that's why gas has gone and cooning not there. Will get car repaired next day evening only( 14 k for part plus serve extrA). Next day evening I reach there and they have not even touched the car yet. Said engineer for ac on leave. Tom morning will complete.
Next day I reach by 4 pm. They have completely dismantled my strweeing unit and console . And told me next day evening will get car back. Next day I go.I am told the part they have is not fitting so they closed it up gave back car( 3 days gone no service) I drive down to local a mechanic he changes part in 4 hours and give me 6on the warranty also all for 7k( till June 2016 no ac failures) post that took car for 2 more regular servicing to the same planet ford. In June 2016 car breaks down due to stewring pully failure and got belts replaced with 16k bill. Within 2 days of service car breaks down again.
This time fuel fitter jammed and some whinine sound while driving. Local mechanic clears clog . I book service for June 18th 12 pm at planet ford bibwevadi. I turn up on time. First check is done at1.30 pm due to staff shortage and identified fuel filter to change and also ball bearing of rear wheel's worn off. 7 k and I can bring car on Monday morning and they will give me car Monday evening. Is the only thing in my life to hang around ford service centres. They can't even service or attend to complaint's properly.? Well I am done neither ford. Am selling this car asap and never touching a ford again. If u have a ford local.mechanic is the only hope.
