Been using Folgers for many years and have always enjoyed my first and subsequent cups every morning. But unfortunately I will not be buying any more because of its new plastic container. When I open the container it does not have the same aroma, taste or satisfaction.
Furthermore the container is not recycleable and after it is empty I just don't know what to do with it. Does it belong in my recycle bin or the trash can?
Maybe Proctor and Gamble want to lead the industry into using plastic containers instead of cans but I wonder why. I hope the other coffee suppliers do not follow their lead. I can just see our landfills of the future, full of empty plastic coffee containers. Or maybe they will chop them up. Does that stuff float?
Now I need to find another brand which I like and does not come in plastic.
