Not so Interesting and confusing

Story:

Amitav Ghosh is a very good writer and I have read most of his books. The previous two novels based on it by Amitav Ghosh was beautifully described which is lacked in this trilogy. Some incidents described in the book makes me doubt and raise question on the history books I learnt in my school because they do not match. The East India company, British rule and trade depicted in the book are quite well but then it becomes monotonous and boring at one point of time in novel. I could not read the novel at one go because of too many things happening in the novel which was quite confusing. It took time for me to digest the same. The trilogy fails in connecting me to the Indian past and history and I rather lost until I reached its end. A good effort by Amitav but yes not his best work until date.
