Story:

Amitav Ghosh is a writer having deep imagination and beautiful narration capabilities. The flood of fire can be termed as a trilogy, which threw light on ancient India when Britishers were ruling. The book includes such incidents and information, which our history books did not even have, and I was fascinated by the thought of reading it. The series are so stunningly explained by Amitav that I could feel myself present on that particular scenario. As the story forward, it describes about East India company rule in India, British foreign secretary and colonial government flawlessly narrated by Ghosh. The book is the trilogy of the first two novels by Amitav thus finishing the British rules and Trade powering India. It is one of the collections in my library and have recommended to all even those who are studying history in schools.
