Worth Reading this Stunning Novel

I honestly say that I have never read a better series of historical fiction novel than Amitbh Ghosh’s Ibis Trilogy. Flood of Fire is the perfect ending to the series.

I have realised that it requires an incredible depth when you read all three novels. After I completed the whole series, I must say this just book and the other books just goes on to prove the excellence of Amitav Ghosh and he is undoubtedly one of the greatest Indian authors who has been writing masterpieces in English.  I absolutely enjoyed reading it!

Well researched and beautifully written the history in a thrilling and enlightening narrative style. The language gives a pen picture of the British colonialism. Also it is fascinating to read the relationships between the British and Indian people. I would recommend this book.
