Hi all.....i know its too late to write a review for this book.but however i read it now only in reverse chronical order of all chetan bhagat’s books.The 3 mistakes of my life and one ni8@ call center
where also simple with a plot which ends fine but we will all like five point someone more when compared to the other two because everyone would have experienced college life.so,everyone can relate some parts to there own life to the story.thats why this book is more intersting when compared to the other two.
The book mainly revolves around three main characters Hari,Alok and Ryan.the aurthor had told the story through hari.we would have read books related to,how to get in to IITs and story about achievers.but this book is entirely opposite to those.i liked the way the three guys screwed their own life through some plans like Operation Pendulam,Cooperate to dominate and all those.
The story catches speed from the first page itself,as they become friends due to ragging by seniors and heroics of ryan.the other two gets admired by ryan’s heroics and after that they just do what ryan says inspite of their owm worries because of family and grades.after the hardwork they had done to get in to IITs,they plan to enjoy life and they finally end up as under performers.After that story deals with the problems faced by underperformers in IITs.
The author has handled the character of Mr.Cherian very well,whose is the HOD for them,and also the father of Hari’s girl friend Neha.the episode between those three was also very interesting, the way hari gets in to neha’s room and the shirt episode to get his fathers room keys were really very funny.intially when i was reading i hated the character of Cherian because of his personality as narrated but when he cries at last for his son,i felt very pity for him.you will know know why when you read this book.the way how hari and neha become as lovers was very simple and sometimes un acceptable.i also likes the character of Prof.Veera, by the way he helps the three.
However all ends well at last for all the three.the book was entertaining and also enriching by what not to do in IIT.The author is doing well and has a gift of writing good novels continously.
