FIVE BEST SONGS OF SURJIT BINDRAKHIA
Surjit Bindrakhia- A Punjabi singer who used to sing every kind of song died on 17 Nov 2003. It was time when I came back from my school
around 2:30pm and suddenly I got the news from my brother that Surjit Bindrakhia has died. I was not aware of the fact that since few days he was suffering from heart problem. Even he was admitted twice or thrice in a hospital in the year 2003 for the better treatment. But it has been rightly said by someone ’’Death is the truth of life and we all have to accept it, the only difference is that we never know about it in advance. There are many things about which a person can’t predict and death is one among of them. I felt so bad by hearing this mourning news becoz after him there is no one who can sing just like him. He was a person with good voice, personality and friends. His wife ’’Preeti’’ with one daughter (Gitaj) and one song (Meenaj) are living their life in Mohali. His soul was blessed with the prayers of singers like Gurdass Mann, Babbu Maan, Harbhajan Mann, Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, Bhagwant Mann, Pammi Bai and many more. Even Gurdas Mann has written one poem on him and I felt so low when for the first time I’ve heard it. It was simply superb as its meaning was so heart-touching. It can bring tears from ur eyes.

NEELIYAAN NASHILIYAN
By this song I came across this famous personality. I came to know about that there was someone named as ’’Surjit Bindrakhia’’. I’ve heard this song for the first time and I became his fan. In the way he has sung the song was fabulous. The video of the song was also kool. Lyrics, Music, voice, models eveything related to this song was imply superb. It’s very difficult to say that he/she is a good singer by listening just one song. I was not confident that one day I’ll start buying his every album becoz I found him so good in this song. He was not present in it but still his voice was something extra-ordinary. Now when he is no more there is no need of recognizing his voice but still I’ll miss his voice and songs a lot. There can be good singers but no one is just like him.

This song is related to our generation, becoz here everyone wants to fall in love just by seeing the face of opposite person. For them there is no need of knowing about others attitude, likes and dislikes. I think it shouldn’t be like this, there is an immense need of considering person’s attitude else we all will end up in nothing.
GORI GAL UTTE
This song is one among my favorite songs; I never get bored by listening it again and again. Although everyone in my group like ’’Jatt Di Pasand’’ from this album but still my first and last choice is ’’gori Gall utte’’. This song is really famous and there was a time when i used to sing it a lot. Now the time has changed so that I too. I like everything related to this song, its music, lyrics, models, all were organized in a much planned way. Today when I reject more than 50% albums becoz due to their worst picturisation, clothes, songs, music and lyrics. Like now a days there is one song which i don’t like at all and it’s..... Ang ang hai nashila’’. In this album Sonabar kabir is looking as cheap as she can be. I simply hate this album a lot. I’m not saying that in Punjabi albums u won’t get this type of stuff, u will get... But in surjit bindrakhia’s album there is no chance. If u doesn’t believe me u can better check out hi albums.

Does there is any need of giving the meaning of this word?? ’’Maa’’ means ’’MOTHER’’. According to me mother is the world’s best human being. She cares, she fights, she loves, she makes us understand, she gets angry, she makes us realise that we are good, she is the only one on whom we can depend upon during our bad times becoz in good times everyone is present near us. I love my mother a lot even how much i don’t have words. She means everything to me. Yes I do fight with her a lot and sometimes she gets angry too but no matter what will happen I simply love her for being so kind and polite with me. About this album...The video of this song was based on ’’Son, daughter and mother relationship’’. When for the first time i saw it I cried. It was difficult to hide my feelings by listening this song. This song has a very deep meaning and the one can understand it only when he/she knows the true meaning of this word.

MAIN KAL TAK NAHIN REHNA
I did hear this song a lot and i simply like it. This song includes all those feelings which are real and have some meaning in our real life. The word ’’main kal tak nahin rehna’’ means ’’i won’t be alive till tomorrow’’. As i said death is the reality of life and due to this some people don’t want to accept this reality. Sometimes when we say that we will be dead one day, if there is someone who is elder to us present near us he/she always guides us don’t say like this u have a long way to go. I don’t agree with them at all. There can’t be anyone who makes us aware about the death, only we can imagine it becoz a person dies once not everyday. It has been rightly said by someone that ’’Death is not the reality of life but what dies inside a person when he is alive’’. Its matter a lot that how we take things in our life as they comes to our way. There are two ways of considering one thing- the one is positive and the other is negative. Those who take things in a positive manner can achieve anything as compare to those who likes to take them in a negative manner. I’m a big example of this thing and I can say proudly that positive thinking always works and if we think negative we can’t remain happy for long.

TUNI BOLDI
I know there would hardly be anyone who doesn’t like this song at all. I like this song becoz it’s good for entertainment. One of friend used to sing this song a lot. Now a day he is studying in Canada. I still can’t forget his dance and his wordings for this song. He was really crazy for this track. When I was studying in 9 Standard my science teacher asked him to sing a song and he sang ’’Tunni’’. There is no doubt that this song is different and whenever u feel like dancing...tunni won’t be a bad option. This song has two videos but i like the first one. Surjit Bindrakhia was not looking good even he was looking like a gangster. It happens sometimes Jazzy B also looks like this. But what to do...I like their songs a lot becoz personality and looks doesn’t matter when it comes to voice, music, singer and lyrics of the song.
His close friend ’’Shamsher Sandhu’’ will always miss him as he used to sing his songs a lot. He was the only one for Shamsher Sandhu, he used to treat him like his own younger brother. It’s true that he will remember by all those great legends who still consider him as an ’’Unforgettable legend in the world of Punjabi music’’.
