With the invent of FM stations, life has become little complicated though.. since there are so many options to choose from and so much variety... gosh! gone are days of our only "vividh bharti"
I will tell you about what i listen to!
FM Rainbow :Station of the Nation! A very good mix of music - both in Hindi and English, new and old, contemporary and classics.....its all there. its also informative...you get hourly news bullets as well. There are all kinds of programs talk shows, request shows etc. the best is that when you write you get reply!! most of the RJ’s are communicative.. so its not like you are talking to a wall......trust me they read their mail...
Meow FM :the only "just for women" radio station! well if you are in love with songs from 70s to 90s - this is just the station for you. Also if love calling on radio and airing your opinion, comments - this is the station for you! though i do believe there is nothing as "just of women or men" because these two are sides of the coin! don’t trust me! think about it...think hard! got the answer!!! i told you! but the station is still fun and gives you platform to share your views and concerns...its just nice to talk sometime, you know!
104 Fever : Non stop music......yes there is nonstop music. good mix of contemporary music in Hindi and English....if you are one of those, who like to listen to music repeatedly - this is where you need to tune in! Plus there they have silly and interesting quiz programs. its really fun sometimes......and RJ’s in the morning are really cool......
well i have only tried these so far but there are many more....will keep you posted as and when i try them out!
If you are not listening to the radio.. you are surely missing out on lot of fun...so tune in and have fun! much better than watching people killed, beaten up, peeped into their private lives for no rhyme or reason and god knows what all on TV! Its 100 times better listening to music anyday anytime....
