Am a new exponent to reading..Usually I do spend a lot of time watching movies ,listening to music or just sleeping ...

well! reading thru some reviews...fantastic ones at that..some effective places you could pick up books ,where to go,where not..

I had a library membership once..nearby home...started picking up books..initially with all the enthu..picked them up read them in a few days and then returned..everybody happy but then as any lazy guy does..started the delaying process.ended up reading the books in a month and paying a bomb..somewhere it did not make sense..so stopped reading and went on to other hobbies..

Recently got married..! Guess what..!!an Avid reader ! She wudn’t watch movies as many,would not listen to music as many but books...always with them...a lot of my tastes were renewed too..Stephen King,grisham,clancy,ayn rand,robin cook,forysth and then casually strolling thru Brigade road I found the best way to read without spending a bomb...buy the books at dirt cheap rates..primarily used books.. at abt 1/3 to 1/4th the cost and mind you..in pretty neat shape...

Some of them are Bookworm on MG Road,then there are a few on Church street too...you will also find a lot of places on Avenue Road too..primarily roadside guys but they are always connected to some major vendor somewhere near who sells used books ..


So there goes the story....Now my collection has reached immense proportions..keep away a part of my money every month on this new hobby..no time limits and there is always something to do.
