Well I like rather this kind of ratings in place of just sayins pros n cons of a single product....enough of this lets go down to my list....!!
a) Asha Bhosle: Well lot of people will disagree
to this but as its my opinion I can say head-high that Yes Asha is the Best Voice Bollywood ever had.The thing which pulls crowd is the Brilliance in Variation and control of voice. Songs like Janam Samjha karo n lot others are just heaven to the ear ...!!
b) Lata Mangeshkar: Truly the nightingale from India but I feel the voice has some how changed a bit from mid 90s (No offences please). She is god but I think of a different territory.
c) Kavita Krishnamurthy : Kavita has got the softest voice which suits a particular kind of mood , even I can say Music. Listen to the songs of 1942 a love story the softest you can ask for ..!
d) Alka Yagnik : Here comes the voice for all the moods, musics for the modern era. here are very few times when a Music director has to go to any other than her. just see the singers name and you will agree with me.
e) Sunidhi Chauhan : This little charmer has came a long way now. She is maturing and will take a time to reach the heights. I am including her name as a very personal choice as I will never forget songs like sajna ve sajna , Dhoom Machale.
Singers like Suraiya and others could have made to my list but I will say technology has taken this chance away from them.
